OCPS ClassLink Student LaunchPad App for Mobile Devices

I will cover how to install the OCPS ClassLink Student LaunchPad app. We also offer a video about this. I will install the app step-by-step and divide the installation guide into two parts: iOS and Android. This post will be helpful to you!

Install ClassLink LaunchPad App on iOS Devices

1. Open the ​App Store​ on your iOS device (e.g. iPhones, iPads).

2. Touch ​Search ​on the bottom of the screen.

3. In the​ Search Window ​at the top of the screen, type “c​ lasslink launchpad​.”

4. Touch ​Get ​to install the app.

Note​:

  1. Be sure the app looks like the image to the right. There is an old OCPS Launchpad app that will NOT work correctly.
  2.  You might be required to sign into your iTunes account if you have not stored your password on your device.

5. Search for ​OCPS​.

Note​:

  1. The app will remember your selection on future launches.

6. Enter your​ Username​ and Password​andclicktheblueS​ ign In​ button.

Note​:

  1. Do not use the “Sign in with ADFS” button when off campus.
  2.  The username is your OCPS Student Identification Number. If you do not know the OCPS Student Identification Number, please contact your child’s school.
  3.  If an elementary student does not remember their password, they should contact their teacher.
  4. The password for middle and high school is selected by the student and is the same as the password they use to login to their laptop.
  5. If a middle or high school student needs to reset their password, they should visit https://studentid.ocps.net.​

7. Select the ​app​ you wish to access from the ​My Apps​ screen.

Note​:

  1.  The ​My Backpack ​app will show the student class schedule and beneath it the app for each class/course.
  2.  Some apps like i-Ready will prompt you to open another mobile app that you may also have to download. If another app is launched by Classlink it will pass the student credentials and log them in.
  3.  Switching Between Open Apps
    ○ After opening a few applications, a counter will appear next to the 4 squares. This represents the number of open apps. To switch between open apps, click on that icon

1. Open the G​oogle Play Store​ on your Android device.

2. In the​ Search Window ​at the top of the screen, type “c​ lasslink launchpad​.”

Note​:

  1. Be sure the app looks like
