OCPS : Directions to Access Textbook Materials

Dear Parents, Below are directions on how to access online Reading, Math, and Science materials available through the OCPS LaunchPad site. Materials are located in the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt ThinkCentral icon. ThinkCentral is an all-in-one learning site that provides access to digital books, activities, readers, and more.

Internet Explorer doesn’t work well. Downloand and Open Google Chrome, which is the preferred browser, free download https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/

Open OCPS LaunchPad Login Page

To enter the OCPS LaunchPad website type in the browser: launch.ocps.net . If you have any questions, you can check out this blog over here for reference.

Login OCPS Launchpad

Enter the User name: Student Number
Enter the Password: Student Birthdate (YYYYMMDD) example: 20031203 (December 3, 2003)
Click Sign In。
Once logged in, click the HMH icon , click Proceed to Think Central.
Things to Do: Displays a list of assignments and due dates as assigned by your child’s teacher.
My Library :Gives you access to the online version of your child’s textbooks (Reading, Math, Science). From here, you can print pages, read stories, watch tutorials, etc.
My Test Scores :Displays your child’s progress in assessments.
